Mohammad Alabbar, founder and chairman of Emaar Properties, is a key figure in shaping Dubai’s skyline with landmark projects like the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall.

This introduction captures the essence of Mohammad Alabbar’s legacy, beginning with the historic Emirati house, ‘Burjeel,’ symbolizing his roots in the UAE. To create this immersive experience, I modeled and textured the traditional architecture and elements in Maya, bringing them to life in Unreal Engine. Each detail, from the intricate design of Burjeel to the atmosphere around it, reflects the blend of history and innovation central to Alabbar’s story and achievements. The result is a visually rich, respectful homage to the man who helped shape modern Dubai.

Burjeel House

The Burjeel House, with its iconic wind tower, is a historic Emirati structure symbolizing traditional architecture and cultural heritage in the UAE.

Desert Environment

I sculpted natural dunes and rocky outcrops with Unreal Engine’s Landscape tool, capturing the subtle shifts and depth of a real desert. I used layered sand textures and carefully placed rocks and sparse vegetation to avoid repetition and keep the terrain authentic. With warm, high-contrast lighting, I simulated the intense desert sun, adding slight fog to create a heat haze effect .it is open landscape.

Opened Landscape

I created an open landscape in Unreal Engine by sculpting expansive terrains with hills and valleys and applying high-quality ground textures. Strategic foliage placement and dynamic lighting added realism, while Level of Detail (LOD) techniques ensured smooth performance, resulting in an immersive environment for exploration.

Simulation

In Unreal Engine, I utilized the Chaos Cloth system for realistic fabric simulations that respond to wind and gravity. By adjusting properties like stiffness and weight, I achieved lifelike movement and draping, enhancing realism in characters and environments.
